Adobe Photoshop CS5 Sneak Preview Demo

During this session, Tim Plumer—Sr. Solutions Engineer—from Adobe’s Education team demonstrated the ways you can leverage Adobe Photoshop CS5 in any communications workflow.

Whether you are creating for print, the web, video, or all three Adobe Photoshop can prepare artwork in such a way that you can leverage a single .PSD file across the entire workflow. Plus, you can combine artwork from Illustrator in a way that allows you to leverage all of the flexibility of you work in that application. Tim showed us:
  • How to leverage layers and layer comps to maintain maximum flexibility with your original image
  • How smart objects combine with images to produce a hybrid image for quick, yet robust visualization projects
  • What Camera RAW files are and how you should be using them
  • Ways to leverage Adobe Bridge to manage your assets from any Adobe product
  • How you can then use these projects for print in InDesign, the web in Dreamweaver, interactive projects in Flash, and for video in After Effects
